Animals sighted near works in nature reserve – TODAYonline (But more info needed)

The Land Transport Authority (LTA) has stated that camera traps in the Central Catchment Nature Reserve has been able to capture photographs of wild animals such as the Sunda Pangolin and Lesser Mousedeer after the site investigation (SI) works for the proposed Cross Island MRT Line alignment options were completed.

Whilst encouraging, we say that more information is needed for a full assessment of impacts caused by the SI works. It is therefore important for the LTA to release the full biodiversity monitoring report on the SI works.
